The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it's alarmed regarding the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The services stage designed for intervention experiences a higher influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to enable the servicing of all clients status sassa and raise access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
